If you are receiving a NO SERVICE error please try to reset network settings. This may not work in all cases but this has been reported and confirmed to have resolved the NO SERVICE error.
It is really a simple process:
1. Insert unsupported Sim card (The new carrier SIM card)
2. Navigate to: Settings
3. Go to General —-> Reset —-> Reset Network Settings.
